Highlight of the Summer in VF

On last Tuesday, the 5th, we went to the Jefferson County 4-H Parade. Addison definitely enjoyed it more this year. I guess we don't have much to compare it to, considering last year she was about 2 months old. We went to Jason and Jackie's to get close to the action. Addie really liked the horses and got pretty excited everytime she saw someone that she actually new. Her dad's attitude really showed when she saw her "Mee-maw" and couldn't go with her. Boy was she mad, and if I had to guess, I would say that she is pretty afraid of clowns. To be quite honest though, they were really creepy looking, so I don't blame her one bit.

After the parade we went and got some watermelon while Danny stood in line for cheeseburgers. She loves watermelon, so this just made her night!!

Let's Give This a Try!!

I have been thinking of giving this a shot for a while now, thanks to Makenzie!! So what the heck, here we go. I guess I picked a pretty good time considering we just got our first ever family pics taken!!! And maybe the last, because it's really not one of Danny's favorite things to spend his valued time doing. Although, you may be fooled by the picture........he looks like he is cooperating rather well. Of course Addison, like always, had to show off all of her teeth and pretend she was a model for the day. Anyway, this was my birthday present to myself and I was very pleased with the outcome!!

And here are just a few of Addison having some fun........she was totally cracking up and we couldn't stop laughing, so she just kept on going.






So I guess this would be my first successful "blog" and for most of you that know me should be very proud!! I had absolutely NO help in getting this going! So now we will see how long it takes me to call Mak and say HELP!!!
