The Holidays Are Over :(

So it has definitely been a while since my last post. I was so busy there for a while, that all my free time was consumed with other things.......Involving everything from laundry, cleaning, dishes, and then there was the shopping, shopping, and more shopping and then wrapping, wrapping and more wrapping. Now that the holidays are over, I can share some pictures that I accumulated over the last month. We had a great Christmas and New Years and hope everyone else did too! Addison loved her kitchen and her new chair that is like Daddy's! She is becoming quite a cook!!! Hopefully she will be ready and willing to take over in the real kitchen in a few short years! Danny and I both got some extra time off from work, so it was nice to be home a little more for the holidays.

How could I forget to tell everyone about the new addition to our family........Addison got a new baby for Christmas and named him Bobby. Addison is so much help with him, we don't even hear him cry.

Halloween

This year Halloween was a little bit more fun for me.........I mean Addison. It didn't take her long to get the idea of trick-or-treating. She turned out to be a pretty cute little scarecrow, and didn't mess with her hat too much. By the end of the day she was definitely wore out..........and a little grumpy. Ready to go "night, night."

Addison's Newest Siggie

So there is a really cool website that you can upload pictures to and request to have a siggie made. You can pick and choose however you want it done and it's free!!! Sometimes you have to wait a while, but it's worth it. If you don't want to wait you can pay a whopping $3.50 and have it done quickly (usually within a day) and if you tip they get it done really fast and usually do an extra one or two for you! Mean Face

I have been trying for weeks to capture Addison's "mean" face and have been unsuccessful every time. Last night, after several failed attempts, I managed to get a partial "mean" face. She usually has her nose wrinkled a bit more and her eyes are normally a bit more squinted, but this is the closest I have been able to get. It cracks me up every time and I just wanted to share! :) Excuse the wild hair..........it's uncontrollable!!!

Round 1 At The Pumpkin Patch

We made a quick trip to the pumpkin patch this past weekend and Addison loved it!!! She had so much fun! I chose a very bad time of the day for picures though, because the shadows were horrible. I plan on trying again though in the next couple of weeks to see if I can get some better pics and maybe spend a little more time there!!! Tasha and Zac came along and we also brought Drew with us!

Nascar 2008

So we spent another weekend at Kansas Speedway for the races!! Of course this post is a couple weeks late, the races were September 27th and 28th. We had fun like we always do, something I look forward to every year, although it must have been my year to babysit. I think since Danny didn't get to go on Saturday he had to make up for it on Sunday, so I got stuck babysitting him. He might have gotten just a "little" intoxicated, but he said he was just having fun!! He did owe me one though! He kept me on my toes and a little to busy to even be able to go visit Makenzie, also something I look forward to every year (that is...hooking up with Makenzie's crowd). It was very hot in the stands, a lot hotter than it should be at the end of September. Definitely fun though and I can't wait until next year!!! Jimmie Johnson won, so of course Danny was mad and wouldn't even consider calling Makenzie, knowing that she would give him shit.
